SHOCK PROTECTION Wave is a fourth-generation back protector which exploits the latest developments in the three-level composite protection concept: EXTERNAL SHIELD: the outer layer comprises a set of plates which are connected together with a joint that perfectly adapts to the position of the back. The plates disperse the energy generated by the impact by evenly distributing it over the entire structure. They feature a corrugated structure with an internal mesh stiffener. This system improves shock-absorbency without increasing weight. CENTRAL INSERT: a honeycomb sheet of aluminium is fitted between the inner and outer layers. This honeycomb aluminium absorbs shock in a gradual and controlled way and weighs 20less than other similar shock-absorbent materials. BASIC SUPPORT: The part touching the rider's body performs the extremely important task of keeping the protector in contact with the back. This is the only way for the structure to effectively distribute the shock deriving from the impact. COMFORT ERGONOMICS Protecting without limiting natural body movements. Thanks to its exclusive and complex articulation system, Wave perfectly copies the movements of the rider's back. This result is achieved thanks to the combined action of three factors PLATE ARTICULATION: adapts to the vertical movements of the rider.
